Rebecca Emerson is a partner in our Financial Services practice. Her recent client work includes advising banks and market infrastructure players on wholesale risk management and treasury topics.

Rebecca is committed to making Oliver Wyman stand out in the UK consulting market by ensuring it leads on important emerging themes across its client sectors, particularly the transformative power of digital. She also plays an active role in Oliver Wyman’s Social Impact programme, personally supporting the company’s work with refugees.

As a female leader in a male-dominated industry, Rebecca is keen to continue encouraging more diversity within Oliver Wyman, and the management consultancy sector as a whole. She was named a top 50 OUTstanding LGBT+ ally executive by the Financial Times and is a local champion of Oliver Wymans LGBT+ and Allies network, GLOW.

By talking about how LGBT+ discrimination has affected my family, I open a dialogue with people in my social circle to discuss and debate LGBT+ issues and, hopefully, help people become aware of and challenge any biases they have.

Born in Washington DC to a military family, Rebecca moved around extensively while she was growing up but has now lived in the UK for the past 29 years. She firmly regards London as home, and spends time outside of work  enjoying art, photography, running, and making ice-cream.
