Nik is a Partner at the intersection of Oliver Wyman’s Private Capital and Aerospace and Defense Practices.

With over 20 years of experience in the aerospace sector, Nik specializes in commercial due diligence and growth strategy. He has led over 300 engagements, working closely with financial sponsors, porticos, and strategics. Nik's expertise spans a wide range of AD&G segments, including commercial and business aviation, MRO services, airport infrastructure, shipbuilding, satellite communication, defense electronics, and more. He has a proven track record advising on critical investments, portfolio structuring, and growth strategy across various A&D segments.

Nik thrives in the company of passionate aerospace professionals with diverse backgrounds. He excels in collaborative, hands-on work with deal teams, sponsors, porticos, and management teams. Nik leverages the collective expertise of the broader OW team to develop growth strategies and implementation plans that maximize asset value and returns, combining organic value creation and inorganic platform-building.

Before Oliver Wyman, Nik co-led the AD&G private equity practice at PwC Strategy& and was a Managing Director at CSP Associates. His career showcases a deep commitment to the aerospace sector and a passion for supporting investors in building a resilient industrial base.

Nik studied Mechanical Engineering at McGill University and pursued graduate studies at MIT in Aeronautics and Astronautics. He holds an MS degree in avionics software visualization and a PhD in risk management in complex aerospace organizations, using the Columbia Space Shuttle as a case study.

Nik, originally from the French part of Canada, now resides in Boston but considers himself a Mainer at heart. He enjoys spending time with his wife and puppy at their Kennebec River home near the iconic Bath Iron Works shipyard. His love for the ocean is evident as he enjoys sailing, boating, diving, and fishing (even if not always successful).
