Melanie is an Associate in our Digital practice. She leverages her strategy and data science background to lead teams of consultants who tackle challenges across the financial services, transportation, healthcare, and insurance sectors.
I started off my career as an Actuarial Consultant, advising companies on what their pension liability may look like in 30 years. I was desperately missing the feeling of impact in my work. From my experience in our Digital practice, I can’t imagine a better opportunity to have such immediate and large-scale impact right from day one.
Appreciating the breadth of experience that consulting has to offer, she has worked on topics including big data transformations, scheduling efficiency, customer analytics, and target operating model design across a number of industries.
Outside of work, Melanie prefers to be on a basketball or tennis court, golf course, or in the studio doing yoga.
I’ve been a teacher in some form or another over the past 16 years. One of the most fulfilling aspects is acting as a mentor to newer consultants and students who are curious about consulting and life at Oliver Wyman.
