Mark brings 30 years of experience to his role on the Oliver Wyman Engineers team and has become a great resource on warranty and recall management, quality systems management, problem-solving, supplier quality management, and new product introduction.
Spending over 30 years in the manufacturing industry, with the majority of that time at a major automotive OEM, gives me deep insights into the struggles our clients are facing and has equipped me to better develop real-life solutions.
Mark is well versed in warranty management systems and known for developing tried and true solutions to tough manufacturing and management challenges. Looking toward the future, Mark anticipates there will be more focus on productive processes with quality costs being key drivers in the coming year. That’s why he works to support clients adjusting to this trend and actively advises on this matter. Above all else, Mark knows that the client-consultant relationship goes beyond business, and aims to develop personal interactions through his work to create connections that last long after a project has been completed.
I once had a client come to me at the very last minute of the project’s final day to jump in and support a supplier negotiation, which we were able to successfully manage for them. Even if a project is wrapping up, we feel it is crucial to provide clients with the same level of support throughout our relationship and vindicate their trust in us.
In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife of over 30 years, playing golf, and watching his favorite sports – mainly football, basketball, and occasionally hockey and baseball. He received his bachelor of science in Metallurgical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
