Between 2012 and 2016 he was the Managing Partner of International Regions (South America, the Middle East and Africa, and the Asia-Pacific), and between 2007 and 2012, the Managing Partner of the Communication, Media, and Technology practice. During his career, Javier has consulted to some of the world’s leading companies across Europe, the United States, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. He has advised C-suite executives on corporate strategy and organization, sales and marketing, M&A activities, and government leaders on the adoption of new technologies and the development of the information society.
Javier joined Oliver Wyman in 2006, through the acquisition of the telecommunications strategy practice of DiamondCluster, which he led for five years. Before that, he was a senior partner in Cluster, and worked for the MAC Group and Hewlett-Packard.
An industrial engineer, Javier holds an MBA from IESE and the Rotterdam School of Management. He speaks Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
