Chad Wischmeyer is a partner of Oliver Wyman’s Actuarial Practice with more than 30 years of actuarial consulting experience.
He has extensive knowledge of most property and casualty exposures and provides consulting services to insurance companies, corporations with self-funded insurance programs, as well as various governmental agencies.
Chad's assistance to clients includes loss and loss adjustment expense reserve analyses, confidence level analyses, and preparation of cost allocation models. His area of responsibility also covers forecasts of premium requirements, evaluation of classification and rating plans, overall rate of return projections, and general management consulting.
Projects for non-insurance corporations include self-insurance funding studies, cost allocation projects, and risk retention analyses. He also provides rate filing review and financial examination audit support for several state insurance departments.
Prior to Oliver Wyman, Chad was a consultant in a firm that provides tax accounting to nonprofit clients. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Additionally, he is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
