Bo is partner in Oliver Wyman’s Stockholm office where he leads the Nordic Consumer, Industrials and Services practice.
He works with both large and midsized clients across a broad array of industries, focusing on issues ranging from corporate strategy and major transformational programs, to M&A transactions. His role is to assist companies in thinking beyond simple restructuring and to rethink their strategies for delivering projects with reduced capacities, remaining competitive, and participating profitably in new growth. His work often involves helping firms transform traditional business processes, and make the most of new digital technologies by exploiting data in their operations.
Key for me has always been to focus on building long term relationships, both with clients through meeting and even exceeding their expectations, as well as with colleagues by helping them to develop and having fun together.
Before joining Oliver Wyman, Bo spent several years as a partner with another leading management consulting firm, and before that with IBM.
Bo has a Master of Sciences in Industrial Management Engineering with the Linköping Institute of Technology as well as an Executive MBA from Stockholm School of Economics and Wharton.
As a piece of advice for anyone thinking of joining our industry I would say to use your heart as well as you brain when choosing your future employer. This is an intense profession where you work very closely with your colleagues to solve difficult problems. It will make your life much easier and more rewarding if you work with passionate, interesting people who work joyously across disciplines, lines of business and borders, all which I think characterize the people of Oliver Wyman.
