Targeting the White Space
The US$11 TN Opportunity in Emerging Asia’s Wealth Management
With over US$11 TN in unmanaged wealth and market growth of over 10%, Emerging Asia is now the battleground for growth in wealth management. In Oliver Wyman’s Asian wealth management report, Targeting the White Space, we examine a currently under-served customer segment left which offers a strategic opportunity for wealth managers to seize. The “Core-Wealth” segment, a white space for sustained client and asset growth in Emerging Asia, represents 37% of the total wealth in Emerging Asia and has more unmanaged wealth than UHNW and HNW+ segments combined.
The report also describes eight levers critical to the creation of a sustainable business and examines how alignment of these levers can define success in the Core-Wealth segment.
