Network financial analysis: Oliver Wyman assisted Metropolitano, a Buenos Aires commuter railway service concessionaire, in analyzing the financial feasibility of upgrading rolling stock and infrastructure through electrification of twolines. Oliver Wyman developed a financial model to analyze different cost/demand/pricing/financing scenarios. This work was part of a broader project in which Oliver Wyman helped to identify and recommend specific changes to Metropolitano’s existing concession contract to enable it to obtain project finance and World Bank guarantees.
