Supply chain strategy for a computer technology firm

Transportation/supply chain strategy: For one of the world's largest computer technology firms, Oliver Wyman led the development of a worldwide transportation/supply chain strategy in response to major changes in sourcing, manufacturing, and customer needs. The project incorporated analyses of logistics operations and management options in North America, Asia, and Europe. As a result of this project, the client increased its use of third-party logistics services, achieved more tightly integrated logistics information systems, and changed its overall transportation organization functions and structure.

Experience

Oliver Wyman has conducted dozens of engagements over the past five years for global integrators and expedited parcel delivery firms, national and regional third-party logistics services providers, and North American and European postal services.
