For a large international conglomerate, Oliver Wyman assisted a client with an entry strategy for the US natural gas value chain. The work included a full strategic assessment of each value chain component covering E&P, Gathering and Processing, Pipelines and Transportation, LNG Regasification, Marketing, and Storage. The resulting work supported the investment of approximately $1B and included an assessment of growth potential, economics, supply and demand dynamics, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape for each sector.
