John T. Colas

John T. Colas is a Partner in Oliver Wyman's Retail and Business Banking practice in North America.  He has over 22 years of experience in consulting to financial institutions having joined Oliver, Wyman & Company in 1984.  In addition, he has worked in each of the world's principal financial centers advising senior management on strategic issues across capital markets, retail and private banking, wholesale banking, mortgage banking and insurance.

His client work has served to accelerate shareholder value creation through advanced risk, capital and performance management practices. Furthermore, he advises executive management on the critical issues of growth, strategy and organizational alignment.

He has been a speaker at leading financial services industry forums including the Federal Reserve, BAI, Institute of International Bankers and the VIP Forum. 

Mr. Colas graduated, magna cum laude, with a BSE degree in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  He also studied at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris as a Rotary Foundation Scholar.  He is a member of the Advisory Board of The Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
