Mike Weissel is a Partner at Oliver Wyman and leads firm's Health & Life Sciences practice. In addition to his leadership role, Mike spends the majority of his time assisting payors and other healthcare participants with issues of strategic business design, including a focus on growth strategy and operational redesign. His experience includes engagements focusing on growth strategies, segmentation strategies, sales and marketing effectiveness, due diligence, and partnership and negotiation strategies. Mike has a strong track record of creating actionable strategies for healthcare industry participants and helping them achieve profitable growth.

Mike has published articles on sales- and marketing-related topics and on the integration of health and wealth. He has also been active in the development of Oliver Wyman’s Value-Driven Business Design strategy framework. Mike holds an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
