The Property-Casualty (P&C) Strategy Practice
The Property-Casualty Strategy Practice works with C-suite and senior executives and management teams of leading insurance companies, distributors and private equity entities – covering the personal lines, commercial lines and reinsurance industries on wide-ranging issues of strategic impact. We assist our clients worldwide with issues ranging from distribution and customer strategy, to pricing/underwriting and product design, to claims management and technological advancement, to financial effectiveness and reinsurance optimization. We help our clients define a road map for future growth and optimize performance of their current operations in the ever challenging and dynamic property-casualty environment.

Due to rapid growth in the practice we are currently seeking persons with the following skills for consulting positions.
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
- Bachelors or advanced degree (MA, MS, MBA) from a top academic program in mathematics, economics, actuarial science or related field
- 3-6 years relevant professional experience in P&C sectors and /or consulting within financial services (preference for P&C experience)
- Experience and/or established interest in growth strategy development, customer segmentation, operations or capital management, claims, or pricing/underwriting and product design
- Ability to work in a team environment, ideally in a project based structure
- Ability to create and present materials suitable for senior client staff
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite/flexibility in learning new software tools
For Senior Engagement Managers, responsibilities include:
- Providing intellectual leadership for project execution, including planning, supervision and execution of analyses for individual project module(s). Within a project, tasks typically involve developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model design, creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, creatively tackling information limitations, and surfacing insights
- Ability to structure the work of and manage consultant teams, ranging from smaller teams with 1-2 consultants to larger teams with 3-6 consultants. Ensuring accuracy and robustness of analyses and ensuring quality of overall delivery, providing comprehensive support to Partners in project execution
- A key part of the position includes managing the client relationship and being the primary contact point for senior client executives. Client management activities include leading meetings and presentations and interfacing with clients on a day to day basis. Candidates must be comfortable presenting to senior executives and high level client audiences.
For Junior Engagement Managers, responsibilities include:

Ability to plan and execute analyses for individual project module(s). Within a project, tasks typically involve developing hypotheses, managing data collection, model creation and analyses, conducting primary and secondary research, creatively tackling information limitations, and surfacing insights.

Ability and experience in managing 1-2 junior analysts is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to provide comprehensive support to Partners and Senior Engagement Managers in project execution through accurate and quality case execution.

Candidates must be comfortable managing mid level executive client relationships, presenting at meetings to a range of audiences, and working day to day with clients.
