David Noble

David Noble is a Partner at Oliver Wyman and the Head of the Financial Services business in Asia-Pacific. Based in Shanghai, Mr. Noble was a senior Partner in the firm’s Corporate Strategy practice in New York before moving to Asia.
Mr. Noble’s consulting experience includes growth strategies, enterprise cost reduction and risk management engagements at leading banks, investment banks and insurance companies in North America and across Asia, primarily in Greater China and Korea.
He was previously the global practice leader for AT Kearney’s financial institutions group. Prior to this, Mr. Noble was a senior Managing Partner at Morgan Stanley in New York where he held positions in the strategic private equity group and in the global private client group as head of strategy as well as head of Morgan Stanley Online. He also worked at RBC Financial Group in Toronto, Montreal, Hong Kong and Atlanta. He has held executive positions in retail and business banking, multinational banking, brokerage and strategy, and was CEO of Security First Network Bank.
Mr. Noble has served on numerous advisory boards for technology-based financial services companies and has been quoted extensively in the world’s leading business and financial publications.
Mr. Noble has a Master’s in International Management from McGill University, a Master’s in Economics from Queens University and an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of British Columbia.
