Michael Poulos

Michael Poulos is a Partner and the Head of Oliver Wyman's Financial Services practice in North America. Prior to taking on this role, he led Oliver Wyman’s Retail and Business Banking practice in North America for several years.
With the firm since 1993, Mr. Poulos has done extensive work across the industry focused primarily on consumer and small business banking, including work in capital markets, insurance, finance and risk. Much of his client work has centered on classic issues of strategy, as well as a number of operational implementation issues. He is frequent speaker at industry events, the author of thought pieces on a wide array of topics, and is regularly quoted in the press on industry issues.
Mr. Poulos holds a B.S. in Economics, magna cum laude, with concentrations in Finance and Political Science from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Joseph Wharton Scholar.
