Oliver Wyman's SE Asia business, established in 1996 and based in Singapore, serves leading businesses and institutions in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan, and partners with our other Asia Pacific and global offices to serve clients throughout Asia Pacific.

In SE Asia, we serve leading local and multinational companies on a range of strategic initiatives. Our SE Asian work is focused primarily on the financial services industry, where we count the majority of the region's largest and most successful financial institutions as our clients.  We also serve some of the region's most prominent energy, transport, and telecommunications service providers.

Recent projects in financial services include: distribution strategy for a major pan-Asian bank; market sizing and business growth strategy for a global investment bank; small business product program and credit process design; strategic growth and business model advice for a major Asian stock exchange; private equity due diligence for financial services acquisition targets; and advice to leading institutions and regulators around Basel II implementation for banks. Recent projects in other sectors have included retail marketing strategy for a downstream energy company, pan-Asia growth strategies for multiple logistics service providers, and a successful effort to reduce customer churn at a leading wireless service provider.
