Developing leaders for a high-performance strategy

After building a worldwide presence through mergers, a top-20 healthcare company wanted to implement a high-performance strategy, but its people didn’t have the necessary capabilities.

Our Executive Learning Center conducted a rigorous analysis and worked with a group of managers to identify the leadership capabilities needed at each level to execute the firm’s strategy. We then developed targeted programs that employ action learning and coaching.

Today, we are delivering three core programs. Over seven years, 8,000 first-line managers have learned fundamental managerial skills in a program that’s now conducted around the world in nine languages. More than 2,500 middle manager have attended sessions to learn how to act globally in driving growth and performance. And several hundred top leaders have attended sessions that have helped them develop a common language for communicating the firm’s high-performance agenda and encouraged them to spread critical messages about the strategy throughout the organization.
