Oliver Wyman assisted the CEO and a small team of senior officers in evaluating its strategic position across all of its major business units and markets. Oliver Wyman worked with client teams representing all divisions of this international manufacturing conglomerate to create an internal and external fact base of successful and emerging Business Designs. The analysis enabled this team of executives to understand its Business Design opportunities in the context of its current and future economic neighborhoods in aerospace and related industries. Of the ten potential corporate growth initiatives identified, the corporation is currently implementing the three initiatives recommended by the team to allow the company meet the aggressive revenue and profit growth forecasts to which it had committed.
