Experienced Hires
As with entry-level consultants, Oliver Wyman hires experienced consultants with the expectation that they will progress to the partner level. Depending on the extent of industry knowledge, previous experience, and performance, successful experienced hires can expect to reach Partner level within two to four years. Experienced hires are given broader responsibilities, including managing client relationships, determining the appropriate analyses required to address a client concern, and providing “thought leadership” and creativity.
Experienced candidates should have four or more years of industry experience, preferably in financial services or consulting. They should excel in team environments and have a proven record of managing teams to deliver against tight deadlines. Duties will include managing client expectations, ensuring that deliverables are met and developing junior staff.
