Global Aerospace & Defense corporation: Developed a top-down risk quantification model
Oliver Wyman developed a top-down risk quantification model to provide improved transparency and prioritization of the client's key risks. The model allowed senior management to simulate the impact of key strategic and operational risks over a ten-year period and to assess the level of volatility in relation to its risk appetite. Using the model, senior management was able to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of risk mitigation and transfer strategies. The risk-adjusted forecasts provided focused business reviews with more risk return and prioritization of risk mitigation and transfer decisions.
