
John Higginson
Partner, APR
John Higginson is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Retail and Business Banking Practice. He has lead the firm's rapidly growing Retail and Business Banking Practice in Asia-Pacific for over two years.
Mr. Higginson has worked in consulting for over 20 years in North America, Europe and Asia, where his work has primarily been with large multi-national firms such as financial services and consumer products sectors, among others. He specializes in customer understanding and market behavior, focusing particularly on how the needs and behaviors of customers should be reflected in the way they are served. He has worked and published extensively in areas such as segmentation, proposition design, pricing and customer management.
He has authored a number of publications, most recently "Broadening the lens – the future of retail lines pricing" and "The price is right – rethinking pricing policy in retail banking."
Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, he ran his own consulting practice supporting clients in Europe and Japan.
Mr. Higginson holds a PhD in Engineering from Cambridge University.
