On why he joined Oliver Wyman:
After a few years in an operational position, I wanted to develop my competencies and have more direct impact on operations and bottom line results. Of all the consultants I had been in contact with, the ones at Oliver Wyman always impressed me. Their approach to problems was pragmatic and modest, their strategies always appropriate for their client’s goal. And now after four years of experience with the firm, I can affirm that I was not deceived. On top of that, I have found myself in a very challenging environment, working with smart people who manage to raise the level of expectation of everyone around them.

On his experience at the firm:
I have had the chance to be involved in projects in several countries (Canada, France, Germany and Czech Republic) that have put me in a position to understand the local cultures as well as work in diverse subject areas: manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, strategy. These cases allowed me to get a very broad vision of the industry and its intricacies. Furthermore, these projects were amazing experiences as I benefited from a variety of experiences: spending one day working with the people in production on the shop floor, and the next I was in a steering committee with all the executives from the company. Having to adapt behavior is always a challenge, but I found it to be an incredible way to acquire soft skills very rapidly!
