Career Paths
Oliver Wyman is committed to nurturing and developing staff early in their careers. In both of our primary career tracks, many of our staff who joined us from University were promoted through the ranks to become Partners. We are unique in that we do not require an advanced degree for promotion into the Partnership. We think that you can learn just as much, if not more, on the job as you might in the classroom. We avoid the constraints that, in many firms, limit the pace at which an able individual can assume responsibility.
We allow our consultants as much responsibility as they can handle and provide ongoing training to accelerate their development. We emphasize a 6-9 year Partner path, not a two-year analyst program.
