Mechatronics company: Rising customer demand for integrated solutions led an electronics company to merge with a supplier of mechanical solutions. The merger created a new market leader with $1 billion in sales and more than 5,000 employees. The new entity was able to secure its existing core business and explore new, profitable growth opportunities.
