Freight: Developed a formula-based pricing methodology
Product strategy: For a European railroad freight operator, Oliver Wyman developed a consistent and modular product strategy. This included designing a standardized platform of products that served existing customers with lower complexity costs. After developing a commonly accepted platform of transport and service modules as a basis for the client’s future product portfolio, the team implemented the standardized product portfolio. The team also developed customized solutions for different industries and new processes in the production unit and the customer service center.
