David Kretzschmar is a Principal in our Energy and Natural Resources practice in Munich. For more than 10 years, he has supported leading energy suppliers and municipal utilities in Europe in the transformation of their sales activities and grid operations.
The focus of his consulting work is on the implementation of digital business models and associated IT and organizational transformations. David also has deep expertise in restructuring as well as operational and sales efficiency improvements.
The challenges for utilities have become very dynamic in the wake of decentralization of generation and electrification. I'm particularly excited about working with my clients to challenge the status quo and develop innovative digital solutions.
David Kretzschmar studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Dresden and lived for in France and the United States for serveral years. He loves traveling, is interested in art and new tech gadgets, and spends his free time hiking in the mountains, snowboarding, or racing bikes, depending on the season.
