Stonewall Lists Oliver Wyman In Top 100 LGBT+ Employers 2019

Stonewall, the UK's leading LGBTQ+ charity, has ranked Oliver Wyman 71st among its top employers for 2019.

The UK Workplace Equality Index is the definitive benchmarking tool for employers to measure their progress on lesbian, gay, bi, and trans inclusion in the workplace. Our score is based on feedback provided from our staff about inclusion and diversity in the workplace and tells us how we’ve performed in comparison to our sector and region. This helps us understand where our successes are and where improvements need to be made to make Oliver Wyman the best place to work.

Being named a Stonewall Top 100 Employer for LGBT+ inclusion recognises the tireless work done at every level of our organisation to create a wholly diverse and inclusive culture for everyone. But this is just the beginning. We’re all excited to see what we can do next
Rebecca Emerson, Head of UK and Ireland, Oliver Wyman

Stonewall's Workplace Equality Index assessed our LGBT+ practices across ten areas:

  1. Policies and benefits
  2. The employee lifecycle
  3. LGBT+ employee network groups
  4. Allies and role models
  5. Senior leadership
  6. Monitoring
  7. Procurement
  8. Community engagement
  9. Clients, customers and service users
  10. Additional work

Changing things for the better needs us all to work together – across workplaces, across sectors, and across communities. Collectively, we can, and will, build a world where all LGBT people are accepted without exception
