Nick Studer is a Partner at Oliver Wyman focusing on wholesale banking, risk and finance. His work spans front, middle and back office topics, including public policy, strategy development and financial planning, cost management and risk management. He has worked predominantly in London and New York, as well as in regional financial centers across North America, Europe and Asia. Nick currently leads Oliver Wyman’s European Finance and Risk Practice and he formerly led the Global Corporate and Institutional Banking practice.  

Nick has co-authored multiple articles and studies into Financial Services strategy, including most recently:

  • ‘Compensation in Financial Services: Industry Progress and the Agenda for Change’, an Oliver Wyman/IIF joint report
  • ‘The Outlook for Investment Banking and Capital Markets’, an Oliver Wyman/Morgan Stanley joint report
  • ‘The Future of Financial Services’, an Oliver Wyman series

In 2010, Nick was named to the prestigious Financial News 'Rising Stars' list, which identifies the brightest up-and-coming professionals in European financial services.

Nick graduated with a First Class Honours degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Cambridge University.
