Oliver Wyman Appoints Charlie Hoban as Boston Metro Leader

Boston…Oliver Wyman announced today that Charlie Hoban has been appointed the Boston Metro Leader. Hoban, a partner in the firm’s Boston office, will be responsible for growing the firm’s engagement with the local business community.

Hoban is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Health & Life Sciences Practice. His focus is on business model transformation and new business design creation across healthcare. He is also a leader of the Oliver Wyman Health Innovation Center and serves as a co-director of the Oliver Wyman Leaders Alliance.

Hoban holds a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He lives in Newton with his wife and three children.  

The Metro Leader roles are new leadership roles for Oliver Wyman in North America.  They will help drive active engagement in their communities and work closely with Oliver Wyman for Society, the firm’s internal program focused on creating a meaningful impact through social impact projects, community engagement, and nonprofit fellowships. The Metro Leaders will also engage with Oliver Wyman alumni based in their specific regions and lead client cultural events and sponsorship opportunities.

Oliver Wyman just moved to a new office space located in the heart of Downtown Boston. The modern open floor plan office allows for collaboration among colleagues, fosters community and has views of Logan Airport, the Seaport, and the Charles River. The firm is now located with sister companies Marsh and Mercer which will help to create stronger synergies across the various subsidiaries of Marsh & McLennan Companies.
