Helping leaders deliver key strategic business objectives

A national insurance provider that sells its products exclusively through a network of independent agents and brokers faced declining earnings. Following an acquisition, they hired a new CEO. Late in 2002, he established a new strategic agenda to be rolled out in 2003. We helped facilitate the messaging and cascading of that effort through an executive development program called the Leadership Summit.

From 2004 through 2006, the program was strategically positioned to follow the senior leadership meeting that defines focus and priorities for the year. The program framework covered corporate strategy and culture, marketplace issues, managing others, and strategic leadership and competency. As the organization’s priorities evolved, we adapted leadership competencies, session content, and the business challenges we addressed to reflect the company’s refined focus. Executives agree that the Leadership Summit has had a significant impact on executives’ ability to deliver on the company’s key business strategies.
