Auto insurer: Improving pricing and customer targeting

Oliver Wyman assisted a regional auto insurer in improving its pricing, price positioning, and customer targeting technology. Using our proprietary techniques the client was able to exploit more of the customer surplus in segments and regions in which it was advantaged, and improve its growth prospects in other segments. Together these represented a projected annual profit improvement of over 30%.
