About the Office
Oliver Wyman’s Munich office is located in the cultural and political center of the city. It is surrounded by several attractions, such as the Maximilianstrasse, which is one of the world’s most famous boulevards, the State Opera House, the Marienplatz and many galleries and theatres. The Alps are a convenient 45-60 minutes away from the city, and there are several lakes nearby for relaxing and recreation.
The Munich office was established in 1993 and has grown rapidly in recent years from a hanful of UBM-pioneers to the largest office in Europe with 180 staff members. We help leading enterprises grow shareholder value by designing and aligning their businesses around rapidly changing customer priorities, economics, and environments. Clients include, Siemens, Daimler Chrysler and Bahn. The variety of casework conducted in the Munich office has focused in the communications, information and entertainment, financial institutions and risk enterprise, manufacturing and automotive and travel and transportation industries.
The Munich office serves as a strategic center for Oliver Wyman in German-speaking Europe, coordinating activities with our sister office in Frankfurt and providing the initial support of our office in Zurich, Switzerland.
