Christian A. Edelmann is a Partner and Region Head of Oliver Wyman's Financial Services in Asia-Pacific and is based in Hong Kong.

Christian has worked with major financial institutions in Asia, Europe and the Middle East covering Wholesale & Investment Banks, Wealth & Asset Managers, and (Post)-Trading organizations. In his recent work he has particularly focused on client coverage models, distribution and product strategies, business model optimization and strategic risk management. He has co-authored some of our reports on transaction banking and wealth management in Asia and is a regular speaker at industry conferences.

Christian holds a Master degree in Law and a Master degree in Business and Economics from the University of Basel (Switzerland). He also earned the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and the FRM (Financial Risk Manager) designation.
