Anthony Bice
Anthony Bice is a Partner in Oliver Wyman's Sydney office and is Head of the Insurance practice in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to his relocation to Sydney in 2009, he was based in our London office where he led the European Insurance Financial Effectiveness initiative.
He has worked in depth with major insurance groups across the globe, specializing in the measurement and management of risk, capital and value. His recent focus has been assisting leading global insurers in enhancing their finance and risk management capabilities and embedding the use of their economic risk and value measurement tools into business processes, such as product development, pricing, risk optimization, capital allocation and strategic planning. He has also led a number of large finance and risk transformation programs for insurers, including most recently a major Solvency II response initiative.
Anthony joined Oliver Wyman in 2004, having previously spent 9 years with a major actuarial consultancy in London and Sydney. Prior to this, he worked for two years with AMP in Australia, in the Group Finance division.
Anthony has a First Class honors degree in Economics from the Australian National University, for which he received the University Medal and is a Fellow of both the Institute of Actuaries and the Institute of Actuaries of Australia.
