Helen Leis is a Director in the New York office of Oliver Wyman. She provides strategic planning, large-scale transformation, and organization alignment advice to leading clients in public health, consumer products and private equity.   Representative projects at Oliver Wyman include the following:

  • For an acquisition in the online gift business, she advised on integration planning, operational transformation, and organizational restructuring
  • For a boutique private equity firm, Helen advised on the post-merger planning and alignment for the firm’s acquisition of two companies in the financial services sector
  • For a leading private equity firm, led due diligence and target screenings for an acquisition in the personal protection equipment space
  • For an acquisition in the energy drinks category, Helen led the post-acquisition planning, integration, and organization design of a $300M business
  • For a prominent private equity investor, Helen designed and launched the direct field sales force for one of the firm’s portfolio companies, a $200 million collectible gift business. Helen developed the sales organization and compensation structure, field sales activities, performance metrics and sales training program
  • For a U.S. public health agency, Helen led the effort to develop a national strategic plan for obesity and transform its nutrition and physical activity division, and re-align staff and financial resources, as well as research, communication, program, and policy efforts, with priority needs of the agency and the country
  • For a $3B merger in the electric utility industry, led post-merger integration planning and implementation efforts for operations, customer service, and business services
  • For a $150M spring water joint venture, led efforts to integrate sales, customer service, operations and supply chain planning    
Helen earned a B.A. in economics and history from the University of Virginia and an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.  She lives in New York City with her husband and two children. She is an active fundraiser for breast cancer research, and enjoys wine-tasting, yoga, and hiking.
