Kathleen Hoogerhuis
Kathleen has over 25 years of experience in creating and implementing strategic visions, business strategies, policies, and programs and in successfully leading and managing people and businesses in global organizations. She has extensive experience in building organizational capability to achieve business and operational objectives, and also has deep expertise in developing leaders to align and lead their organizations through significant paradigm shifts and transitions.
Current and past clients include MassMutual, Bank of America, and Daimler Trucks NA. Kathleen also is the managing partner for Oliver Wyman Leadership Development. As an internal and external organization and leadership development consultant, Kathleen has partnered with executives and their teams to enhance individual, team, and organizational capability in the face of significant change, including mergers and acquisitions, leadership and cultural changes, technological changes, and marketplace shifts.
She has worked with organizations to design the strategy, structures, systems, processes, and executive and leadership assessment, coaching, and development activites that are the cornerstones of competence. In addition, she has designed cultural alignment strategies to ensure employee engagement.
As a line executive, Kathleen has driven bottom-line results in both turnaround and high-growth environments. She has worked across multiple industries, including financial services, high-tech, electrical and technical services, precision manufacturing, and transportation and distribution.
Kathleen earned her MS degree in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and her BA degree in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine. She also has taught Organization Development courses as part of Portland State University's Management of Innovation and Technology and Human Resource certificate programs.
